These are my 5th and 6th batteries. One and four died withen the first two years contrary to the extended service life that manufacturer markets them as. Two things to remember do not use these when they are hot and do Not run them down like we use to with ni cad batteries. Li-ion batteries have no memory except if you mistreat them. If they get hot or too low on power they will be very short lived. The charger does a great job of cooling them down and charging them up. Leaving them on the charger till the fan turns off seems to be the best way to keep them alive longer. Feel free to just rotate them onto the charger all the time. Infact keep one on the charger all the time and you will get max life and best use out of these power tool batteries. Once the battery’s energy lvl is visibly slowed or sounds slow throw them on the charger. Also if you’re going to store them for a weekend or a month make sure they are fully charged they really like to be charged up and kept cool. leaving them in the sun is also very bad. Heat = death of a $70 dollar power tool battery.

I was using the much smaller 1.0ah batts that came with the tool, and they’d last less than an hour.

This 3.0ah is so much better and lasts for a good couple of hours (having 2 is also great). Plenty of torque, super-fast recharging time and THE CAPACITY TO GET THINGS DONE.

Also, the Lithium technology is far superior to NiCd (and even NiMh); smaller, lighter, no degrading capacity (memory) effect, stronger torque, faster recharge and longer lasting.

Well let me first start my review out on this Bosch CLPK27-120 12-Volt 2-Tool Combo Kit, I should say I am the type that usually over-researching a product until I end up not ever buying because I can’t just pull the trigger. Now that is out of the way, I would have to say I went to several hardware stores and tried about 8 different brand impact drivers before finally choosing the Bosch CLPK27-120 12-Volt 2-Tool Combo Kit. I tried the craftsman, milwaukee, and several big brands and never really liked the grip from there offerings. I am a typical do-it-yourselfer and had a recent project of building out an attic space area to be converted to my office space. I wanted to finally go cordless and stop the dragging of cables through my garage up a later, over another attic area to finally get in the area with no local electric. So needless to say, cordless was the main reason to look at this product.

I just would would like to comment on the areas why I choose this drill, the Bosch Tool Combo Kit.

1. Charge capacity- I was using the impact driver for 3″ wood screws to put up walls flooring for continued use of 40 mins with no power loss. I was averaging approx. 40-50 screws per charge. The recharge rate from 1 bar to 3 bar (from indicator on drill) was approx. 32 minutes for a full charge. I have a NICad drill that honestly took over an hour and half to reach full charge.

2. LED light- this is a great addition for what I used it for. There were tons of areas in the the attic space that I needed to see, where my work light couldn’t provide illumination.

3. Portable power – Again like I said, I was driving 3″ wood screws all day and honestly, with the impact drill, it was the first time I have sheered a drill head with a cordless drill. So the power it was providing was perfect for my application.

4. 2 tools for the price of one!!! – honestly I was just looking for the impact drill on original purchase, but I am glad I got the regular drill. I have added the second to my travel bag of tools as there are times I need it to rack computer gear for clients.

I would recommend this Bosch CLPK27-120 12-Volt 2-Tool Combo Kit, in fact I think my father will be getting a new father’s day present.

You’ll need to take care while disassembling and reassembling your PSP, but it is possible to do on your own.

      Unplug your PSP from the power adapter, if it’s currently plugged in. Turn off the system. Slide the battery cover off and remove the battery. You’ll want your system shut down before changing the LED color.

      Remove the screws that hold the faceplate in place. There will be two underneath the battery and two more underneath the warranty sticker. There are two more on the back right of the PSP and one last screw adjacent to the PSP’s serial number.

      Cut the cables that connect the LED light to the PSP’s motherboard. These cables are red and located on the bottom righthand side of the PSP. Take the LED light and cables out of the PSP.

      Strip the connection cables on your new LED light.

      Solder the new LED cables to the PSP’s motherboard. You’ll want to solder the new cables in the same spot where the old cables were.

      Set the new LED light in place by using a hot glue gun. Make sure that you give the glue ample time to dry before reassembling your PSP.

      Reassemble your PSP. Replace all seven screws, tightening them so that the faceplate isn’t loose.

      Tips & Warnings

      • When choosing the correct LED lights to put in your PSP, make sure you get the right size. They shouldn’t be larger than the “E” in the word “liberty” on a dime.

      • The pieces of a PSP are small, and it’s easy to lose them if you’re not careful enough. Make sure to carefully remove and replace every piece of the PSP, keeping track of the screws and other parts. If you haven’t soldered before, you may want to have someone help you or show you how to do it before you attempt to solder the wires to your PSP.

OK so I am a believer- I have looked at this product for years- read reviews and due to the fact I have been a diesel mechanic for 20 years always thought it to be B/S- but- I have a 1988 wrangler-brand new carb-complete tune up- oil change-would not pass NJ emissions – I tweeked the carb- reset the timimg and still had HC % way too high.- I bought the Fuel Optimiser- put it on drove for a week and went to inspection again- HC % dropped from 1094 to .01 jeep runs smoother and more responsive-up to almost 20mpg- exhaust smell that was present is gone. Why- older engines run at like 40-60% efficiency at best, the magnet gets them up to around 80-90% efficiency- much like newer cars today. This product is a must have for any older pre-computer vehicle. Dont bother putting one on a computerized vehicle-you will probably not see or feel any difference- I am buying 2 more and putting them on my boat this spring- see if I can get a few less gallons per hour out of my big blocks. WELL WORTH THE $$$$

      Remove the air filter if the furnace seems to be working harder than usual while supplying less heat than usual. Air flow is the engine that drives an electric furnace, and a clogged air filter will cause heavier use that results in corrupted delivery of warm air.

      Check the duct system for blockage when there is intermittent or uneven distribution of heat throughout the system. Ducts can become clogged with dirt and lint. Remove the registers and aim a flashlight toward the next closest register. Look through that second register and the light will reveal any significant obstruction.

      Adjust the control handle on the outside of the ducts to allow less or more air to come through it. If a room is clearly cooler than the rest of the house, chances are that someone has closed the damper partway or entirely. The angle of the control handle also allows you some degree of targeting the flow of warm air either away or toward places where people sit or lie down.

      Increase air flow to one part of the house by completely closing the duct register dampers in a part of the house where nobody currently resides. When a damper is closed, the force of air increases in all the other dampers through the house. If you close all the dampers except the ones in your bedroom at night, you won’t need as many blankets or heavy pajamas.

      Adjust the tension of the blower belt if air flow is reduced, but all the dampers are open. Belt tension can be adjusted by turning a bolt located on the mounting frame. This will move the motor toward or away from the fan. Improper tension can result in a reduction of fan speed or a blower that operates at too high a speed. A blower operating at too high a speed can be troubleshot easily because it produces a noise that warns you something has gone wrong.

      Check whether the motor and fan pulley are misaligned, as this can result in a reduction of noise even for a normally operating furnace. Use a straightedge or T-square to check whether these two objects are aligned properly or not. Loosen the set-screw on the interior of the motor pulley and move the pulley either in or out as needed. Tighten the set-screw and listen for whether the fan now makes more or less noise.
